The Edmonston City Green Team works together with neighbors to make our town greener and healthier. Below are some options to try out.
COMMUNITY FORKLIFT
Community Forklift is a nonprofit reuse center for home improvement supplies. They pick up donations of unwanted and salvaged building materials throughout the metro DC region. Then, they make the building materials available to the public at low cost, and provide vintage materials for restoring old homes. They also offer public education about reuse, and distribute free supplies to local nonprofits and neighbors in need.

ECO-CITY FARMS
ECO City Farms is a not-for-profit, multicultural, inter-generational, Certified Naturally Grown, urban teaching farm in Prince George’s County, MD. They intensively cultivate vegetables, herbs, fruit and micro-greens and promote and actively create food security and equity, healthy eating and active living, along with a new generation of urban farmers.
